In terms of infrastructure, the laboratory has two main working environments:

Windows XP environment with 30 P-4 based workstations connected both to a
dual-Xeon Linux server, and to a dual-P4 Windows2003 server, with
full multimedia support, including dedicated sound/video boards, with a disk
raid and a backup service.
The stations and the servers are protected by a UPS.

Texas Instruments: C5xxx, C6xxx families
Motorola: StarCore MSC8101.
Analog-Devices: Sharc ADSP21060, ADSP21160.
